Starting in August, I began the #ShesGotLegs yoga challenge with @kinoyoga @beachyogagirl @laurasykora and@fitqueenirene on Instagram. With my schedule, it has been tough to post them each day, but I am doing them, working them into my daily asana practice and going with the flow of life. Yoga is my feel good drug. Laugh if you will, but it is truly a place for me to get to know myself better and also push myself, safely, to new heights. While some of these moves are above my current series level, I still attempt to modify or create variations that work with my skills and/or account for previous injuries. I try not to focus on the moves negatively because I know if I keep up with my practice, I will one day reach poses that seem so far away. Actually, I kind of get excited when I look at the poses and think one day my body will be strong enough to hold this degree of grace.
